Recap of Christmas Eve

Sorry for all the festive posts! But I have to share my outfit from Christmas eve with the family!

Lace top: American Rag via Macy's on sale for $30
Leggings: Torrid $28
Socks: Sockdreams.com $15
Boots: Kohl's $35
Necklace: Forever 21 $5
Hairpin: Forever 21 $2

I really love the sleeves on it. My step-mom said I looked like an angel! The whole night was really lovely. We drank martinis, ate appetizers as dinner, and watched Christmas movies. Also perfect time to take those cheesy family pictures!

Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to everyone! I had a perfect holiday, including my very first white Christmas of my life! It has not snowed on Christmas in Atlanta, Georgia in 128 years! So, it was pretty exciting. Also, my fiance got to stay home for the day instead of driving all over the place seeing extended family which was also a Christmas first! It was pretty fantastic.

My outfit was mostly made of gifts I received.

Beige tunic and black/gold belt: Forever 21 + for $17.80. It’s a shows a little pooch, but overall fits really nice. Shows my curves really well and is quite soft. It’s a total steal for the price, and it comes with a great belt! Best thing I’ve ever received from Forever 21!
Leggings: Torrid $28
Knee-high Boots: Kohl’s $55
Necklace: Betsey Johnson, gift.
Earrings: Forever 21, gift.

We all sort of went over board with the gifts this year. I got a haul!
    • Forever 21+ clothes.
    • A lace dress, and my sparkly NYE dress.
    • A hat with a gigantic flower.
    • So. Many. Pearls.
    • Betsey Johnson jewelry, wallet, bag, and lap top sleeve. All animal print.
    • A new MACBOOK PRO!
    • A New digital camera.
    • A FOOD PROCESSOR!  (I felt like a 50’s housewife when I opened it. I squealed.)
    • Peppermint chocolate bark.
    • Lot of undies.
    • Heart coffee mug.
    • Pajama set.
    • $100 for a new tattoo!
    • Socks & tights.
    • Eye shadows in a red carrying case.

I was pretty blown away, to say the least. Then of course we had some amazing southern Christmas dinner with the family, and headed out on the snowy roads for a Christmas party with our friends. I really loved my outfit, and it was quite easy to bundle it up for snowy weather and still manage to look cute. I hope you guys had a wonderful holiday as well.

Welcome! I'm Brittany, and this is my Blogspot! I run another blog over at Tumblr, which I love. You can find it at thefatgirlsguide.com.

This blog will be a bit more simplistic. It is simply to showcase my personal style in plus size fashion, and a little bit about my life. This blog will be more based on aesthetics, photography, writing, and showcasing of fashion. My other blog will not change! I'll still be showing my outfits, photos, reviews, Q&A, body positivity, food, hair, and makeup on my Tumblr. I just feel that Tumblr is more about community, discussion, and sharing with one another. Although this blog will do the same, it will be stripped down to the basics. This is strictly my lifestyle and fashion blog. I hope you enjoy it!
